Child Compassion Challenge (CCC) is an innovative program that turns trash into cash for after-school programs across the United States. In a unique partnership with Assemblies of God, KidCare America™ (an Assemblies of God US Missions Ministry), and the world’s largest recycling center, churches and businesses can reclaim resources while renewing lives.

It is the vision of KidCare America™ that churches in rural, suburban, and urban neighborhoods across the nation open their doors during the most at-risk time of the day for children and youth, after-school, providing spiritual, educational, recreational and emotional enrichment "Catching the kids before the street does."

A decade ago, the phrase "after-school programs" was rarely heard in the debate about how to better meet the developmental needs of children. Yet, today, out-of-school enrichment programs are now high on our nation’s list of solutions to the array of challenges facing children and their families. Support for after-school programs has increased in an unprecedented way, and the vision of KidCare America™ is to see churches across this nation meet this significant need in our nation.

Reclaim Resources - Renew Lives

"Child Compassion Challenge parallels what we want to do in KidCare America™ Centers located in urban, suburban, and rural locations across the United States. Like the inkjet and laser cartridges and cell phones for CCC, the time after-school each day, is a time that can be claimed for spiritual, emotional, and academic enrichment, rather than a time that is wasted. That is why KidCare America™ and CCC are such a good match; we are seeking to do the same thing, reclaim resources, and in turn reclaim lives," says Mike Ferguson National Director of and National Representative of Child Compassion Challenge.

You Can Help

Through Child Compassion Challenge and KidCare America™, you can enable your local church, and churches across America, to open their doors and affect the destiny of children in America.
The way it works....

  • .60 cents for each qualifying inkjet to your organization
  • .90 cents for each qualifying laser to your organization
  • $1.20 for each qualfying cell phone to your organization
While your organization receives these funds, matching funds go to KidCare America to help reach the hurting children and youth in America (and now Guam!!) at the most at-risk time of day...after school.

Won't you help us change the next generation, one child at a time?
